If the approved Panther Programs do not fit your academic needs and you are interested in a Pitt-recognized Program or an independent experience (internship, research, etc.) not on the approved program list, you must complete a special petition for your independent program or experience, regardless of location and previous recognition by the University. Each program petition will be individually reviewed and approved by the University, taking academic purpose and COVID-19 protocols and entry requirements into consideration.
